At Chatrium Hotels and Residences, we are dedicated to making a positive contribution to the environment. We believe that everyone has a responsibility to ensuring our world is not unnecessarily impacted by our presence, and as a newly constructed hotel, we have many opportunities to implement environmentally sound practices.

By creating a new set of initiatives under the banner of our "Think First Think Earth" campaign, we have put a great deal of effort into educating our staff on the importance of environmental conservation and corporate social responsibility - a lesson we hope will cascade throughout the hospitality industry in Thailand. Adherence to environmental regulations and government legislation is merely the beginning. It is incumbent upon each of us to find ways to reduce harmful waste and preserve our world for future generations.

At Chatrium Hotels and Residences, we have adopted the following initiatives to promote environmentally sound practices:

• We are committed to making use of energy saving technologies, including recycling programs and energy efficient lighting systems.
• We are dedicated to actively promote creative thinking among our team to find ways to further decrease waste and inefficient energy usage.
• We believe that a concerted effort towards efficiency, even if applied to small daily practices, can have a significant cumulative effect on the environment.
• We kindly seek the cooperation of our guests by asking for participation in our towel and linen reuse programs whenever possible, as well as limiting their use of plastic bags.
• We proudly utilize products and services provided by environmentally conscious suppliers whenever possible.
