By using the expressway, it will take about 45 to 50 minutes to reach the hotel from both Suvarnabhumi Intl. Airport and Don Mueang Intl. Airport. However, this depends on the traffic, which usually peaks between 07:00 hrs to 08:30 hrs, and 17:00 hrs to 19:30 hrs. For transportation from the Suvarnabhumi Airport to our hotel (Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok), please see options below:

• Hotel limousine from the airport (either the Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang airports) to our hotel at the price ofTHB 1,700 net per trip in a Toyota Camry, and THB 2,400net per trip in a BMW limousine, both taking 2 guests with luggage.

• Toyota Van (for up to 6 guests). Ideal for families or small groups, this spacious van service is available at THB 2,400 per trip. It offers a comfortable and private transfer directly to the hotel.

• A metered taxi from the airport to our hotel costs roughly THB350 to 500 including expressway fees. Please make sure that you printout the hotel location map to show the taxi driver as some drivers might not know the hotel location, as well as there being three Chatrium hotels in Bangkok (Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok, Chatrium Grand Bangkok,and Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok).There will be a THB 50 fee added from either airport to the hotel as an airport service fee, and expressway and tollway fees will need to be paid separately.

• From Suvarnabhumi Airport, take the Airport Link (Skytrain) direct to Phaya Thai Station and walk two to three minutes to connect with the BTS Skytrain. Take the BTS to SaphanTaksin Station and then take our shuttle boat service direct to the hotel.

Yes, we offer a few connecting rooms for the convenience of families and larger groups. These need to be pre-booked in advance and are subject to availability. Connecting rooms are only available in the Grand Deluxe twin-beds connecting with Grand Deluxe king bed, cityviewcategory.

The cost for an extra bed is THB 1,900 per night including breakfast.

For daytime, we recommend Iconsiam. For night-time, we recommend the Asiatique night bazaar which opens from 17:00 hrs onwards; it is one kilometre from our hotel and is around a 10 to 15 minute walk away. You’ll find many restaurants, shops, a big Ferris wheel and shows at Asiatique as well.

Guests can reach the Erawan Shrine by taking the BTS Skytrain from SaphanTaksin Station, accessible via the hotel's complimentary shuttle boat. Board the Silom Line and transfer at Siam Station to the Sukhumvit Line. Disembark at Chit Lom Station and walk a short distance to the shrine. Taxis are also available from the hotel, with travel time ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Guests can reach Siam Paragon easily by taking the BTS Skytrain. Start by boarding theshuttle boat to Sathorn (Taksin) Pier, then walk to SaphanTaksin BTS Station. From there, take the Silom Line and transfer at Siam Station, where the mall is directly connected to the station via skywalk.

From Thaksin Pier and within 15 minutes via the BTS Skytrain, you will arrive at the Siam Paragon shopping complex. A few minutes’ walk away is the CentralWorld shopping complex while heading in the opposite direction you will find the famous MBK mall.
