A renewed course, the same mountain challenge
The tournament arrives at an important moment for Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao.
Following an extensive renovation, all 18 putting greens have been renewed with Champion Bermuda grass, complemented by Paspalum grass around the greens. Approach areas on holes 1–9 have also been improved, alongside enhancements to the driving range, putting green and short-game practice facilities.
A new dedicated short-game practice area, designed for chipping and pitching from approximately 30–70 yards, provides additional space for golfers to refine their technique.
While the playing surfaces have been refreshed, the character of the course remains unchanged.
Natural elevation changes, undulating greens and mountain surroundings continue to reward thoughtful course management, precise distance control and confident putting.
For professional players, the course presents a familiar challenge in renewed conditions. For visiting golfers, it offers a new reason to return.
