Making your way to Niseko
Your journey will most likely begin at New Chitose Airport, near Sapporo. From there, Niseko is approximately two to three hours away by road, depending on traffic and winter conditions.
Private transfers and scheduled airport coaches offer convenient ways to reach Hirafu. Arranging your transport in advance means one less thing to think about when you land.
Getting comfortable on the slopes
Niseko is home to four connected ski areas within Niseko United: Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri.
If you're skiing for the first time, a lesson with a local instructor is a lovely way to begin. For those returning to the mountains, there are plenty of slopes to explore at your own pace.
